Doug has represented Canada in the world stage - one of Canada's best athletes to have entered the games and is without a doubt one of the top (arguably the top) caber tossers in the world. He was immersed in the highland tradition as a boy where he started doing highland dancing and then his love of the weight brought him over to the throwing. quote - 'I can do all things through the one who strengthens me.'
