- This is a great opportunity to to remain active in the Highland Games community and give back with their expertise from years of involvement with the games and share insight with the Board to help build the future. (must no longer be an active athlete)

2022 CSAF Women's Championship

Congratulations to Susie Lajoie on winning the 2022 CSAF Women’s Championship!

All the competitors put on an amazing show for the crowd in Quebec City, Quebec. Thank you to Festival Celtique De Québec (FCQ)  for hosting these amazing ladies and making it such a memorable weekend with big sun and bigger throws!

Congratulations to Lorne Colthart on winning the 2022 CSAF Open Championship!

2022 CSAF Lightweight Championship

Congratulations to Matthew Doherty on winning the 2022 CSAF Lightweight Championship! Matt took the lightweight division to never before heights and distances, as he set all 8 new Canadian Records, including a new World Lightweight Record throw in the Light Hammer!

Thank you to the Antigonish Highland Games for making the 157th edition one to remember!

The Canadian Scottish Athletic Federation (CSAF) is chartered to preserve the traditional athletic heritage of Scottish culture through Highland Games in Canada in the form of the Heavy Events. We seek to respect the diversity of the Games in Canada, while providing support and opportunities for national unity through dialogue, education, and championships.

CSAF will support regional Heavy Events associations, athletes and individual Games by:

  • Maintains results of games across Canada
  • Message board for Heavy Events participants in Canada
  • Recording Canadian records and past champions
  • Recognizes the contributions of athletes in a “Hall of Fame”
  • Canadian Heavy Events Championships
